YouTube - Robert Kubica canada 2007 crash F1 that was robert kubica at the canadian gp. he's now dead. hhaha only joking, he escaped with a broken ankle. shows how safe f1 can be
Huge crash, and like the commentator said, one of the worst in recent times. Glad he only ended up with a broken ankle because that looks so much worse than it's turned out. You say that it shows how safe F1 is but there's not a lot you can do about that, they've got huge walls to protect them as much as possible but once you spin out like that there's not much you can do except brace yourself for the impact.
Not as bad as possibly the worst ever loss in F1 Ayrton senna 1994 at Imola. R.I.P to one of the greatest drivers ever. <div><object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/FcuLlk2bwpE&"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/FcuLlk2bwpE&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350" /></embed></object></div>
Ayrton Senna was definitely the worst loss and worst ever crash in F1. The bad thing is they didn't know/think he was dead when they went to wave the yellow flags and everything. RIP Ayrton, you were a legend.

I'd never seen that one, to be honest. But now that I have, I don't know if it is the worst because Ayrton Senna died straight away, Villeneuve died from fatal injuries after the crash. Of course, Villeneuve's looked a lot worse.

I heard about it but i never saw it untill now. Bloody hell, that looks sick. He is bloody lucky, howcome he only had a broken leg.
Apparently after that crash, Kubica is determined to race this weekend in the US Grand Prix. The broken ankle can't be that bad then, because I think the doctors are going to clear him to race, he was discharged from the hospital today.
