    For New England:

    1) Spread the Carolina defense with 4 & 5 WR sets

    2) Keep Davis/Foster under 100 yards

    3) Win the special teams/field position battle

    For Carolina: (lol YEAH RIGHT)

    1) Be creative on offense & take chances often

    2) Pressure Brady & play the WRs tight

    3) Win the special teams/field position battle

Also the Pats will certainly be looking to continue their consecutive streak of scoring on their opening drive. If the Panthers can shut us down early they may have a chance of actually making this game worth watching.

I would like to see how the Panthers respond to the 5 WR set. My biggest fear in this game is our first drive. It seems like they take more chances on it to try to get that first score which really is a great boost. The last thing I want to see is it to backfire and force something on the first drive that turns into easy points for them. But I have faith in Brady and company to make the best decisions.

The Panthers were doing exactly what I feared. They opened up their play book & took chances early & often. So did the Pats for that matter. Both teams played poorly in the secondary. Leaving them suceptible the BIG plays. This resembled in many ways the Titans game in the regular season except far less turnovers. Both QBs had MVP type performances. It's a shame that their had to be a loser I'm just thrilled it wasn't us. This was a remarkable ending to a remarkable season. I regretfully didnt go to the parade 2 years ago. I wont make that same mistake twice. I will be heading to city hall tomorrow for sure.

It should be ruled a New England Holiday. Say hi if you see me, I'll be the one with a Patriots hat on.

I went to city hall as well. It was nuts. Man what a season. That game was unbelievable. And how bout a unofficial MVP for the whole O-line.

That parade was something. I was within 50 feet of the staging area facing directly in front of the large banner to the right. I saw SEVERAL young women kissing & flashing. lol It was great, but I have to wonder if they were at all influenced by the Janet exposure & the infamous Britney/Madonna tongue swapping.

Lets hope it influences many more young women, lol. Parade was def. great and felt like it was just as crowded as last time. The type of crowded where you just cant move and constantly being pushed in every direction but you just dont care. I think my favorite part was getting to see Kraft do his dance once again.
