    West Ham & Spurs battle for Bent

    ?17m- ?75,000 a week that's to much

    don't get me wrong he's a quality player proven goal scorer and as a Liverool fan i was hoping we would get him but for that money no way!

    Any views ?

    Well, he;s turned down a move to West Ham so he'll be staying at Charlton or going to Spurs.

    I'd like United to try a last-ditch attempt to get him. He's lethal in the box.

    It looks like Liverpool are now going in for him as well. Good player but £17mil worth? I'll be dissappointed if they pay that for him.

    As Bringiton said £17 is way too much. Spurs have too many strikers:

    >Keane
    >Berbatov
    >Defoe
    >Mido
    etc.

    and a 4-3-3 won't work with Bent IMO

    Good quality goalscorer but 17mil pounds is just way too much.
