BBC SPORT | Football | Five clubs named in Stevens probe <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Seventeen transfers and five clubs have been named in Lord Stevens' findings from his inquiry into alleged illegal payments by Premier League clubs. Deals involving Chelsea, Middlesbrough, Bolton, Portsmouth and Newcastle have been highlighted in the report. They may face a further FA probe but there is no evidence of irregular payments to club officials or players. Stevens has also expressed concern about 15 agents and managers Sam Allardyce and Graeme Souness. There was a perceived conflict of interest with Newcastle boss Allardyce and his former agent son Craig and Bolton Wanderers. </div> The transfers flagged as dodgy are: Emre Belozoglu, Jean Alain Boumsong, Amady Faye, Albert Luque to Newcastle. Ali Al-Habsi, Tal Ben Haim, Blessing Kaku, Julio Correia to Bolton Didier Drogba, Petr Cech, Michael Essien to Chelsea Collins Mbesuma, Benjani Mwaruwari, Aliou Cisse to Pompey Aiyegbeni Yakubu and Fabio Rochemback to Middlesborough One undisclosed Gotta laugh at how badly involved Allardyce and Redknap are. 4 involve Pompey. Gotta laugh at Chelsea too. 3 integral members of the team were brought in in shady transfers that broke the rules. That's what you get when you have sneaky Russians runing your club like a mafia cartel.
I'm failing to see how Yakubu and Rochemback's transfers were somewhat illegal. We've never been a club who does things like that, but I guess there are the agents who aren't involved with the club who can do things like that.
Boro never been a club to bend the rules? Does Gareth Southgate being able to manage a premiership club without the appropriate UEFA badges ring a bell?
I meant with transfers He's definitely not going to have the right qualifications still by August so I hope the FA let him be because I don't know who we're going to get and it's known that we want Southgate to be our manager for years to come so we're not going to give up without a fight.
The MFC website says we've been cleared of any wrongdoing concerning the transfers of Yakubu and Rochemback . I told you we weren't a bad club
