With Sunderland managing to win the championship under the management of Roy Keane, how do you think they will go in the premiership this coming season?

They'll finish bottom half of the table but not low and I think they'll beat Man Utd at Old Trafford just because Roy Keane is their manager [IMG]

It is going to be a great show down between Roy Keane and Alex ferguson especially because of the unfortunate way roy kean left us. to be honest i kind of want sunderland to win just to find out how ferguson would react.

2nd bottom. They only scraped victories from the championship by coming back or late goals. They cant do that in the big league.

It's amuzing how much of a joke they are [IMG]

Sunderlan is a poor club !!
I believe that they will return to the 2nd league in the end of 2007/08 !!

I'll say about 15th. Just because its Roy Keane doesn't make the players better. It just goes to show the Man United connection making things better than what they actually are.

Madrid fan how the fuck wud u know if they a poor club? the fact that we came from bottom and finished top shows how much we improved n even if we did score a lot of late goals it show we dont ever give up...remember man united in 99?

mid-table, beat the mags home and away and finish above them!

Just because the "almighty" Roy Keane manages Sunderland doesn't mean they are actually any good. I predict they will do as well as Sheffield United, hopefully they get relegated and we won't have to see Sunderland or Roy Keane's ugly mug on our television screens anymore.

99, you mean nearly a decade ago? Double over us? You have never beaten us at the SOS, so get your facts right before you try defending a crap team with a dog w***ing manager!

Dont say it proves you have spirit. You had spirit under Mick Mcarthey and ended up beating your own record of the worse team in prem league history leading to the "let's all laught at sunderland 2" book and getting turned down by your aids infested "legend," Kevin whats-his-name.

Charming as ever. If you want them I could give you directions to St. James's. Better still to Newcastle.

i reckon they will be good enough to last another season and stay out of the relegation zone but i dont think they will be in the top 10

I live in Newcastle and went to 49 games last season. (Would have been 52). Thus meaning out of the hundreds of thousands or even millions of toon fans world-wide, i was in the top few hundred last season.

You said that to the wrong person...

I think they will do OK. We all may think it is the mighty Roy Keane like him or not the guy does not like (or know how to most of the time) lose. Which poses the question who will go down next year.

    For me

    Wigan
    Fulham
    Derby

    I think:

    18 Wigan
    19 Sunderland or Derby
    20 " "

Sunderland to either do horribly and finish Last, or to have a suprisingly good season and break into the top 12 immediatley. As for Newcastle, they could very well get into the top 6 next year. Big Sam is a fantastic manager.
