What do you think is the best way to decide who would win a title or not? We witnessed this weekend Real Madrid winning the league on the same points as Barcelona, gaining the success due to the head-to head record between the clubs. Is this the best method? What would you prefer in your league? Is Head-to-Head the fair way? Should goals difference be the one that matters? Should the two teams at the top play a one off game to decide the winner? Discuss
I like the idea that if you have two teams at the top WITH THE SAME AMOUNT OF POINTS that they play a final game to decide the win (not that that would ever happen). I would say the Premierships way of goal difference is the best method IMO because it shows a teams overall success through the whole season of how many they scored and let in rather than depending on two matches where theres a possiblity of all your top players being injured for the matches in question.

Playoff would be the best for the fans, goal difference would represent the best over the season, but H2H would represent which teamis better I suppose.
Even though I am happy for my team Real Madrid . . I should say that a playoff game is the best way to choose a champion !! Like in Argentina !! (Who didn't watch the game between Estodiantes & Boca ??)

Football is not about scoring more goals, it is about winning and if a team is level on points, why not play a game. It would be an incredible atmosphere and I think it is worth giving it a shot.
a play off game would be fantastic. the atmosphere would be nuts. edge of the seat stuff definetly. the next best way is Head to Head then goal difference.
a play-off game would be the best thing to do.. goal difference is a bad way of shwing it because you mightve gotten most of your goals from a team who were playing really shit or had a lot of players out with injury.. and play ff games would also make a lot of money and be really intense..
I think goal difference is because it shows how well you've played because if it is more than your opponent's you've obviously played better in terms of goals scored to let in over the length of the season.
