I believe that Thierry Henry has displayed excellent and fantastic football in the premiership for the time he's been here. When he first appeared in the premiership he struggled immensely till christmas 1999 and I also remember reading that his mother saying that Thierry was not settled at all in premiership or London but how he overcame the difficulties is brilliant. Thierry Henry has been a fantastic footballer and he is definately one of the legends of premiership football alongside the likes of Cantona, Zola, Schmeichel,Le Tissier, Shearer, Rooney and a few more which I cant be asked to mention.

Some of his goals throught his premiership career have been extraordinary and he was definately the best forward player in the premiership until the emergence of Wayne Rooney.

Notice how half of the 'legends' are Manure players.

I think that henry could have stayed at arsenal for a little longer but he has a sickk deal!! ?16million!! wtf?? henry is worth 5times that!! his skills and hes got such gd talent!! why would he have left for that much!! but i think at the end of the day he probably doesnt care about the money.

I wish him luck in his future!! xxx

Call him a legend now, you are being too kind, give him a few more years and then maybe he would deserve that title. I even think Ronaldo would be a bigger legend than Rooney in the EPL

I think its way too early to say Rooney is a living legend in the game....more hype has been created for this kid than anything...I do admit that he has capabilty to become a great, but hes just a boy still, wait 3 or more seasons, then your can speak about his game and you will notice his game mature. Afterall he is Englands Boy that is to replace David Beckham after retirement.
But yes, Cantona and Henry upfront would be a pleasure to watch.

    Rooney, Premiership legend errr... No...

However Thierry Henry contrubuted so much to Arsenal and the Premiership and It is also nice to see other fans admire him rather than "He plays with Arsenal, Who Cares" I hope he does well at Barcelona.

Fantastic player who deserves nothing but respect. As for the £16m not enough i think thats more than a decent price for a 30 year old who may be succumbing to injuries. I know Chelsea payed double that for Shevchenko but look at that for a waste of money. I won't comment on the Rooney legend business because i think its been more than covered.

At first i thought it was bad for Arsenal but re-thinking it might actually benefit us. With King Henry gone it will give other players (van Persie,Walcott etc) a chance to shine and Flourish in their own time, Of course i wish Titi the best of luck at Barca[IMG]

He is one of the greatest players in the EPL ever. Scored 226 goals in just 8 yrs in Arsenal, amazing. And when u think abt it, when he came to Arsenal, he was mainly a winger, amazing. I think he will do really well at Barca, its football is not as fast and physical as in the EPL and the flair and gd football that Barca plays would surely benefit him. And now he has more gd players around him

It's definitely good for Arsenal when you look to the future. Players like RVP and Theo can now develop with more game time, unfortunately without Henry to help them at training, but they'll be even better in a few years.

Suppose but thats why Arsenal have personal trainers at the emirates so they don't have to depend on the likes of Henry,

Just thought of something else. Henry and Theo can't have their Ledgendary hugs anymore[IMG]

I didn't mean it like that, I meant just the presence of a player like Henry at training can help a player like Theo so much as they develop, even more when they start to get more first team football.

And it sounds like you're just finding more ways to miss Henry [IMG]

Arsenal fans will realise how much they are going to miss Henry next season because Walcott, RVP, Adebayor.. these guys cant fill his boots. Its about time Arsenal spend big.
