Sig rippers - READ THIS

Right, We've got a great graphics community growing here and I've heard of many people getting their work ripped by people and using it on this site and others.

I won't stand for it.

I was recently informed of someone passing my sigs off as their own. I gave this person permission to use my sig on another site on the condition that they had to credit me and DYC. Turns out that this person deleted part of the sig and just put their own name there instead, with no credit at all.

This is how it breaks down from now on:

It's as simple as that. You're stealing peoples work and it's not on. I will also contact the admin of the site you use it on and will insist they ban you from there as well.

yeh, this has happened before people ripping sigs etc.

well, you know i'd just delete it from photobucket then you wouldnt be able to use it

I'm not naming names but the the sig has been removed from the other site and the user banned from here for 10 days.

 

Fair enough i think i know who it was anyway

I shall make it my duty to find out. Good shout, lucky mine are rubbish because I don't put my name on them

 

That is why I put either "L18" or "Lennon 18" on all of my sigs.

 

Yeah we all do that but like BA said, the person took it off and put their own name on there.

I've never seen someone steal one of mine because I don't really go on any other boards.

 

I never used to put my name on my sigs. Id better start now then.

 

I told you that's why Rodney lol. People do it but it's never happened to me.
