Bent Headed for Spurs - Any Good??

Looks like Bent wlll be unveiled at Spurs this week. With Keane Berbatov and Defoe how do you see him playing and fitting in. I can't see it myself think 16 mill could be better spent in Midfield

 

Defoe will be sold and they'll use that money for a midfielder.

I'd have preferred Bent to join United but looks like we have other plans.

 

I dont think Bent would make it at United but He will be a good signing for Spurs.

He's a prolific poacher around the pentaly spot, which is what's needed at OT. He managed to score bucketloads at Charlton with Dennis Rommehdal as his service, imagine with passers like Scholes and Carrick feeding balls forwards from the centre to him, as well as Ronaldo and Giggs or Nani.

I would love him at United.

 

I think he will do well at Spurs. I reckon the spurs will be in the top 5 next season

Good buy but 16 million? Come on that's how much Henry went for.

 

i think bent will be able to develop his skills and his performance once hes joined spurs.

 

he will do well at spurs, although i think they should use Defoe more, hes real good.

his goals record is good aswell... 68 appearences and 31 goals
Atleast Bent can get good and then play for England!

 

i heard on sky sports new that Charlton said noone had offered what they wanted and Bent wont be going to spurs.

A good move for the Spurs, I'd say, Bent is a very good player !!

I dunno, maybe Bent and Berbatov and rotate between Bent and keane. i think spurs will try get rid of Defoe.

 

He's proven himself as a scorer in the Premiership and with the likes of Keane and Berbatov around him he'll do well for the Spurs. Good signing.

 

He's a good signing for Spurs and its a good move for Bent, I didnt wana see him leave but I can understand every player wants to play in the prem and play for England which aint gona happen with us its sad to see him leave but I think he'll improve alot playing with a higher quality team.

 

It could be a good signing. It going to be hard for him to get a game with the likes of keane berbatov and defoe (if he isnt sold) also playing in the same position as him.

 

What is the point of buying Bent when Keane and Berbatov have cemented a solid strike partnership. Defoe is a good player when he comes off the bench, but I think Bent is going to be a waste of cash when there are other areas Tottenham should be looking to improve.

 

I read tonight that once Bent is at Spurs, they'll start taking offers for Defoe.

 

I agree flight, 16 mill for a squad player, when we desp need creativity and have 3 20+ agoals a season striker. looks like it will be done and dusted this afternoon he is agreein personal term. Perhaps his first question should be "will I play boss"

 

I dont think he is top 4 material.
