<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Arsenal's Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas is not interested in a move to Real Madrid or Barcelona. The 20-year-old was rumoured to be attracting both clubs after reports he was unhappy with Arsenal's ?16.1m sale of Thierry Henry to Barca last week. But agent Joseba Diaz told BBC Sport: "These stories are normal but there is absolutely no truth in them whatsoever. "Cesc is happy for Thierry as they are friends. But he can't wait to start the season, he is a key man for Arsenal." Reports in Spain had suggested Fabregas was considering his future at The Emirates Stadium after Henry's exit from the club. But Diaz says the future is bright at Arsenal and Fabregas wants to be a part of it. He added: "Thierry was a very important player for them and it is normal that now he is no longer there everyone thinks it is very bad news for the club. "But Arsenal are going to buy a lot of good players and they are going to be a major team both in the Premier League and Champions League. "Without Thierry, Cesc is one of the best players at Arsenal and this is fine for him, he is happy with the responsibility. "At the moment Cesc is on holiday, but he is very excited about the new campaign." Fabregas joined Arsenal from Barcelona in 2003, believing his first-team opportunities would be limited if he stayed at the Nou Camp. </div> I am soo happy with this. Thank god Henry couldn't persuade him to gohew:
He will go, he needs to play for a decent club and will need european football next season after next.
damn i thought you were gnna give me some better news, like we got Eto'o with that bid or something.. but that news is just as good.. thank god hes stayng.. hes the key to us still being a good team.. he said he's not going to move and is happy at Arsenal, so he's not moving.. how can you still say he will leave?
We know he aint going to Chelsea or Manure, liverpool, in that case he would leave arsenal for Barca or Madrid, Juve. But realisticly speaking, he will not retire a gunner, for he has stated that he wants to return to spain one day.
Good news for the Gunners because they couldn't afford to lose him right after they lost Henry. Hopefully he won't leave in the next few years, isn't he contracted till 2012?
I dont think Fabregas can keep Arsenal in Europe by himself. He might not have want to leave this year but you just never now with Barcalona. They could offer him a lot of money and of course he'll go. And also it depends what Wenger is doing next season. If hes at another club Fabregas will leave.
i cannot see arsenal going "crap" imho they have too many good young players and a class manager all they need is a class striker maybe david villa or tevez considering eto wants to stay
