Looks like at least four teams want Brunell right now...Miami, Washington, San Diego and Dallas.

Where do you think he'll end up? Jags are getting greedy now... Rather than cut him, they're trying to start a bidding war.

If I were him, I'd want to go to Dallas. Especially if Dallas lands Corey Dillon in the off season. Washington is where great players go to die. I'm not a fan of "Marty Ball" in San Diego. Miami...who knows? That's where he'll probably end up. I know he wants to retire to Jacksonville, so Miami would be a logical choice.

    What do you guys think?

I know if chargers get him it screws up the mock
draft lol. I think miami will land him. Miami is a
contender and brunell could be there missing peice
to go to the playoffs and make noise. Besides
its easier to move down the road rather then
    across the country.

well now for a real answer. I disagree on the Washington line now that Gibbs is back but I would have to think Miami gets him on location alone unless washington or dallas offer him alot more money than Miami does. I know there are reports he is on his way to washington but I just don't think he'll go there. Also I don't understand why Gibbs doesn't want Ramsy. He showed that he can make the throws he just had no protection at all and a new system may be just what he needs.

The phins may make a play for Jeff George. Before that, they will make an attempt to acquire Ryan Leaf. If those 2 don't work out then they may settle for Kerry Collins.

I don't know what Gibbs is thinking. IMO, this is just a case of Daniel 'big pockets no brain' Snyder wanting to have all the best toys and/or Brunnell's agent trying to jack up his clients value.

I can't see Brunnell going to Dallas nor can I see Parcells wanting a head case like Corey Dillon.

Bottom line the phins need to tender Ogunleye, hope he signs w/ someone, get two #1s and then get Rivers & Michael Jenkins (WR Ohio St).

    BA,

You guys can have rivers but leave jenkins alone. I'm hoping the Pats get him and a running back in the first round. though I doubt we will use both first rounders though. I'm sure belichick will deal one of them for something. I like Kipers Mock cause he had us getting stephan jackson. I'd be very happy with him or Kevin Jones.

Dillon isn't a head case when you compare him to guys like Keyshawn, Deion Sanders, and Terrell Owens.. Corey Dillon would be a perfect in Dallas and I think Parcells knows it. I'm not going as far as to say he will be there next season, but I think the Cowboys will make a strong push for him this off-season.

The Brunell chase is definetly hot....I read today that the Redskins offered him $20mil over 3 years and guaranteed him the starting job....then I read that Gibbs told Ramsey there would be open competition for the job....Brunell has indicated he doesnt want to compete for the job, and Ramsey wants out if he doesnt have a shot to start...so whats gonna happen?? According to the Washington post the Dolphins offered the Redskins thier 1st round draft pick for Ramsey(i hope that story has legs, I would be thrilled with Ramsey), Gibbs denies that he would trade Ramsey, but if he gets Brunell, why would he not grab the draft pick and buld the team faster??? My gut feeling is that one of those QBs is in Miami next year, no telling which one....Stay tuned, I bet it gets more confusing before it gets done!

Out of the st petes times, tampa is also in the mix
for mark brunell now. This must be disturbing for brad
    johnson to know.

If Tampa joins the derby, which appears to be the case, that throws Johnson into the mix, and the spec is flying, one thing is for sure, a ton of talented passers are gonna change teams or be picked by teams in the next few months, and the league will look dramatically different next season...

To be honest its starting to get draining
to hear all these tampa rumors. If we are
shooting for brunell, lets do it. However
we have more needs to then a qb. We
must fix our keyshawn problem and our
cap. Someone like miami has more use
henson or brunell and mayvbe even ramsey.
