I have made numerous signatures and am unable to post them as my signature because the exceed the KB limit of dyc. I was wondering if you knew a way of compressing the file?
You have to save it as a JPG, not a PSD. A PSD file is so that you have all the layers and everything, so you can go back and change things after you've closed it. When you save it as a JPG, put the quality up to the highest it can go. EDIT: But if you mean that it just won't upload to DYC, upload it to photobucket or something.
I have just tried photo bucket...entered the URL into the signature thing and i quote, "the remote file is too large". What do i do!
Are you saving it as a JPG? Because if you do it shouldn't be too large at all, it shouldn't even be 1MB.
Flatten your image, goto File>Save for Web. Then look at the bottom left hand corner and it shows you what KB the image is, mess around with the image type, JPG, OR PNG then reduce some things and you will get the right one. Your probably saving it as a PSD.. DONT!! PNG or JPG
JPG is the way to go.. dont save as a PNG coz theyre a bit bigger.. wll mine were.. definetly dont save as a PSD..
