To be honest who gives a shit? The guy is overated and overthere so let the bastard rot. Hopefully when the media circus as died down he will wither away into the wilderness and we won't see the ponce or his stupid talentless stick insect of a wife.

I agree with the wife part, but Beckham has taken enough shit so I think we can praise him just a little bit.

He has misread what it is like in the MLS, so he will be shocked at first. And he will be in the England squad.

If I was managing England I would not want him in my squad. First off he has not got that position his and there are plenty of others who can do equal and better than him... But most importantly an MLS game to a Brazil game is too big of a jump and I still cannot get over how stupid of a decision it was to go to America... I would have love to see him come back to the premiership.

of coarse he will cope in the MLS. it won't quite be what the fans where expecting but he will still create goals. if england were smart enough they'd pick him but who know's whats there going to do!

Laughs at people who think Beckham is over rated. The tightest people in the world (Americans) just spent 100M+ On him. Beckham is still world class, when fit.

You give me one England player that can:

    a) Cross the ball better than Beckham
[IMG] Take a better set peice than Beckham
    c) Pick out players from out wide better than Beckham

The answer is nobody, its exactly why England struggled without Beckham because on the right, Aaron lennon is an average player and isnt as good as Beckham. As soon as Beckham got back into the squad, England performed much better.

It may have been boring but the goal was good, JT wasn't even facing it and then all of a sudden he saw the ball so he turned around and scored a great goal.

I hope he still plays for England, we need him (McClaren does if he wants to keep the job anyway).

Out of interest, has anyone bought a LA Galaxy shirt yet? [IMG]

He'll need to adapt to life in the MLS first, he won't be a hit straight away, but form is temporary, class is permanent but it'll take time for it to show and by that time, the media circus will have died down.

As for playing for England, he'll want to but will Galaxy let him? He'll need to leave early for every match with the jet lag and whatnot and he may miss quite a few games away on international duty. Ginger Sven won't drop him, not after the recent performances he's put in.

He's certainly made a mistake in moving to Galaxy though, i think if he'd stayed at madrid or gone to another European club, he'd be playing at the top level for a few more years yet. But in moving to a league which is, imo, poorer, his performances for england may drop
