What do you think, fellas? Good thing or bad thing? Will this ruin careers and screw over college football?

Unfortunatly it will take a serious injury to make this clear to our judicial system that it should not be allowed. It may not take long to happen either with the way it has made some of the guy's feel. They will have a bullseye on them from game one. Welcome to the NFL!

Its kinda sad that a business has no say in
who they hire. Pretty much its against this
kids right to pursure a job, the nfl cant stop
him or anyone else from jioning the business.
Wait til highschools have nfl scouts at there
games, possibly giving them gifts. You think
lebron james was driving around that humvee
    on good credit? lol.

i think lebron was driving around in that hum-v on good credit. Bucs your a bank, and lebron james mom comes in and says "
i want to borrow 70,000 to buy my son a hum-v." you know that lebron just has to sign one sheet of paper and he is a bagillioneer, so you know your going to get your money back plus some, so you have made a profit with very little risk, that is how a bank works.

I think this ruling is a complete joke. This judge is an IDIOT. Why would she mess with a good thing. I hope that NFL will go back to court and overturn the whole thing. It's not like Clarett has no options, he can go to the CFL or AFL. I just hope that the team that drafts him, has a good mentor for him (i.e. like Cris Carter for Randy Moss). And I also hope that the team would not expect anything from him for atleast a year. I wish him the best though, I just think he has the wrong people giving him advice.

Thank you Giantsfan12004! Someone with a brain! NFL teams can finally sign whoever they want. Under the insane (illegal) rule with the players union in kahoots, players were forced to attend college. Don't get me wrong "School is NOT for fools". But this is one area where I'm "Pro Choice". Many of these players have no business being in college in the first place.

You all know how I feel from the previous thread. I don't think clarett is the problem as much as when a kid decides he is ready right out of high school. At least clarett has been out for two years, but its his appeal that will creat the problem so I hope the players hold him responsible and make his rookie season a living hell. I'm not sure he is gonna be as good as Giants thinks but only time will tell.
