From bbc.co.uk/sport
Quote:

Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone has refused to rule out the possibility of a takeover of Arsenal. Arsenal are also the subject of interest from American Stan Kroenke, who already owns 12.2% of the Gunners. And now Ecclestone may enter the fray, although he admits he has yet to speak to anyone at the club. The 76-year-old said: "If somebody offers me something I think is good value, I will have a go. I don't think Arsenal do need the cash, maybe to pay off the stadium but not for the squad. Arsene Wenger seems the type of person who will trust his young players and bring them through, not the type to splash out on big names. Despite all the doom and gloom mood following the departure of Henry , i don't think they'll do too badly. After all they managed most of last season without him, didn't they? Wenger's also replaced him with a cheaper striker with an amazing scoring record in the croation league
i think that arsenal wont need cash urgently because we already have a new and great goalkeeper not mentioning Eduardo hu is class and is such a good player
Yeah, we don't need cash urgently, but neither did Chelsea... Any cash boost is a good boost. I don't understand the hostility towards the Americans. Arsenal will always stay the team they are, just with some better players to propel them forwards.
Well Arsenal don't need it instantly but they do need the money. Peter-Hill Wood is a prick and they need the cash on players if they want to challenge for major trophies.
Arsenal do need the money because all the big names have gone eg. viera, Henry, Pires and know ljungberg.
