Arsenals only main attraction is Fabregas and maybe v.Persie but they don't have any big name players in the team like Man Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool. And the departure of Henry and Ljungberg certainly doesn't help.

Rooney is good, but not god!...looking at last seasons stats, RVP had better numbers in games than Rooney. Rooney is just Englands Child, they'll hype'em up to death. Considering our great comeback last game against the Mancs sparked by none other than RVP. [IMG]</div>

What are you doing to RVP? HYPE HYPE AND YET MORE HYPE. He is overrated like every single Arsenal player, if RVP was better than Rooney then why over the past two seasons has Rooneys goalscoring and Assists record been better than Van Persies? It's about time Arsenal fans starting waking up from denial and realise that their squad isnt so gifted after all.

OK,ok we're just saying players a crap for the sake of it now, firstly Rooney is Hyped but he is still young and probably will reach his peak in a few seasons time, secondly RVP isn't hyped im just saying last season it was likely the RVP a winger primarily would have scored more goals then Rooney but due to injury he didn't, and we aren't in denial. Rank CM's in the world and Fabregas is easily in the top 3 which is good for a 20 year old, also our younger players (Walcott, Denilson, Eboue etc) will start to shine this season and although chances are we won't be title contenders this season we should still secure 4th, 3rd or 2nd[IMG]

Fabregas is good, but he isn't in the top 3 best midfielders. 4th place is too ambitious for Arsenal, especially when teams all around them are bringing in good players that add more to their squads.

    1)Kaka
    2)Scholes
    3)Fabregas

In no order, Kaka, Gerrard, Gattuso. These three are the best of the best.

Gattuso is the most hard working midfielder in the world and his abilities havn't decreased. He can win any ball, he can tackle inch perfectly, he is a fantastic passer of the ball and he IS a better midfielder than Fabregas. Gattuso can turn a 4 against 1 into a last man standing, I can tear apart any attack coming towards him and he never runs out of gas.

How am I hyping him up???....You must be blind my friend, The world cup for example, Rooney and Beckham were the biggest hyped players, instead of Lamps, and Gerrard, and those 2 are better than those hyped. To not admit rooney is not overly hyped just simply shows that you base your judgement on hype alone, and if our squad wasnt gifted enough like you said, then your squad is way below ours, cause we managed to beat you both games of the season!!![IMG]

Fabregas would be my 5th best CM in the premiership let alone top 3 in the world. Premiership:
    1. Lampard (fat jokes aside, look at his stats. He is brilliant.
    2. Essien (Hard working, versatile, controls games in defenseive mid positions)
    3. Scholes ( beautiful passer, gets foward, scores goals)
    4. Ballack ( His horror season was exaggerated and he has the ability to be the best CM in the prem without doubt.)
    5. Then Fabregas.

He's watching his spending because he can't attract big players to arsenal.
If they have a sucsessful season this season next summer they might be able to attrack more top quality players. He might claim he's being carefull but i think its purley because he cannot attrack big players.

I'm sorry to say it Max but i was just about to do a thread on the overrated Fabregas. He's been hyped up to Messiah levels buy the Gooners and he aint that good. I'm not saying he's a bad player but he's far from world class. Arsenal are lurching into crisis mode as i wrote a while ago. What will be more painful though is that it's gonna be your neighbours Spurs thats doing the overtaking.
