Yes with our ever lovable Titi gone it's left a vacancy for a new captain, who will it be though? Gilberto, Fabregas, Toure, Gallas, Lehman?

My moneys on Gilberto or Fabregas personally[IMG]

Gilberto... mainly because he seems to be the most experienced player at the arse and he was capitan most of last season and he sometimes captains brasil.

Most likely Gilberto but this hints Gallas could be.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed that he is in no rush to appoint Thierry Henry's successor as captain.

William Gallas captained the side in Wednesday night's 1-0 defeat to Salzburg sparking rumours that the Frenchman was next in line to take the armband.

Wenger said: "In every game you need a captain. William has all the ingredients needed to be a captain along with Kolo (Toure) and Gilberto. He has a lot of experience.

"Also centre back is the best position to captain the team because you are in a position to see all the problems on the pitch. It is a better position than a centre forward or a wide player."

    From skysports.

So I think it'll be out of Gilberto and Gallas.

Gilberto will be the captain and Gallas will be vice captain. Both would be good leaders for the Gunners but Gilberto will get it just because he's been at the club longer.

Well with Gilberto taking a week or so off when the season starts to rest from his triumphant Copa America it looks like VC Gallas has his time to shine as Cap'in[IMG][IMG][IMG]

Gilberto because he is one of the most experienced players at arsenal. Lehmann or fabregas to be vice captian.

Gilberto. I think he has reached his peak performance again. He has been playing very good for Brazil recently.

But in one or two seasons time, Fabregas will probably be crowned Captain. Give him more of an incentive to stay. [IMG]

But he is really young, wouldn't the more experienced players be a little annoyed? Like Gilberto for instance.

Fabregas is too young to lead Arsenal ahead of Toure and Gilberto. Gilberto has the experience as a captain and he is the perfect choice and age to lead the schoolboys out.

And, he is sometimes selected as Brazil's captain.
