I jus' read some site on football news, and that Oba is being offered to some big buyers. What the hell? He has a break-out season and now Big Sam wants to sell him? He said it was for funding of some more transfers. Well... aside from Barton and Viduka yay, I haven't heard of anyone goin' to Newcastle. Ideas, lads?
If Obafemi doesn't leave, Newcastle could improve on their 14th place from last season as they've got an alright squad and both Barton and Viduka are quality players (you bastards stole him from us ), so they can lift the squad with the help of players like Owen and Martins.

I would still consider them a side that is in transition. They have made lots of changes and I could see them struggle in the 1st half of the season. After a matter of time then they could hit their stride.
