You know you are getting old when....

Im in Subway and "November Rain" comes on the overhead speakers....I say, "an all time classic video", under my breath.....the girl behind the counter hears me and says, "What is?"....I say, "November Rain, the song on now"....she says, "They made videos back then?"....oh lord, Im old....anyone that was around to watch MTV in the '80s(when they played music), knows that "November Rain" was an epic 9 minute video that they overplayed to the point of saturation....I asked what year she was born, she says, "1991"....I said, "check and mate"....</p>

You know you are getting old when you go to a concert and you complain about all the young people...</p>

I went to the metal festival 'Download' and found myself complaining about all the young 'emo' kids and the fact they listen to shitty music. I even busted out 'back in the day'. Old at 23... what a grumpy old asshole...</p>

I had that one too....I went to see Mason Jennings at the House of Blues, and I was overrun with youngin's....I was very uncomfortable amidst 1000s of horny guys trying to pick up 1000s of young woman....

I guess I was more of a 90's MTV watcher. During the 80's I grew up on a dirt road and only got three tv stations, sadly no MTV.</p>

 

The younger sister of my co-worker was in the other day constantly saying "What you talkin bout Willis?" I asked her who coined that phrase, she couldn't remember. When she finally did, her answer was "Hannah Montana."</p>

Yikes.</p>

 

I got one. I'm 16 so i am not actually old lol. My Little brother(12) was on the PC and i asked to go on it. Bear in mind he'd been on it for about 4 hours. He started moaning and i actually said. 'back when i was young i didn't have fast internet like you' I felt so stupid </p>
