Good news first. They seem to be close to getting washington locked up for the next couple seasons before he hits the market. I think this is a smart move even though he is 36 years old. It would have been difficult to replace that kind massive run stopper and he certainly was the key to our defense turning itself around after a dissapointing 2002 season. I say draft that 335 pound DT Junior Saivii and let him learn from big Ted. Now the bad news. What the hell is belichick thinking. 4years 26mil with a 6.6 bonus. If they toy around and lose Law we will not be a better team. I know we all thought that when we lost lawyor but this is much different. I don't want to lose a shutdown veteran corner that knows what it takes to win. Do I think our defense will crumble...No, but I would rather not see Ty in another uniform. They have to pony it up for him regardless of what they think he is worth because someone else will pay him if we won't and he knows that.
Havent been able to post much, busy with too many classes and rugby this semester but I'll show my respect for the Pats forum. Seems as if Ted was upset with that published report of him close to signing that deal. I think hes going to go where ever the money is and hopefully that will be with us. I dont know much about Saivii except what I've read on mock drafts but it would be nice to get a young big sized DT who can play the nose tackle position. I wouldnt expect Law to sign that deal that was offered to him either. It would be nice if they could find a way to lower his cap but right now the best option might to be to let him play at his current salary. I know one thing for sure, its going to be hard to disagree with whatever Belichick decides to do.

I mean we cut Lawyor Milloy one of our team captains the week before the season and won the superbowl. I will trust whatever move they make I just don't want to lose Law. We already lost one half of "THE FIRM". haha
Ty could always shuffle off to you now where and become yet another wagon circler. I think there will be alot of FA's from the AFC east staying this division but ending up in different jerseys. I would love to see Ruben Brown, D Woody, & Winfield all migrate to Miami.
You don't want Ruben Brown. That fat shit just quit on his team last season and wasn't showing up to games practices at the end of the season. He is a sad individual. Woody is still a good player but he is beginning to break down IMO. He has had some injuries the last two season and last year he hurt the same knee twice. I would like to keep him but we really can't pay him what someother teams will be willing to pay him. I wouldn't be surprised to see him in Miami this year. If law went to the bills I would piss my pants laughing and suggest they just move buffalo to Boston becuase it will be our team anyways. Winfield would be a nice addition to any team but I think the fact that there really aren't alot of top quality corners that aren't old out there he will get overpayed by the most desperate team.
The only reason I would want Miami to sign Brown is simply to swerve a division rival. I, too, think, Ruben is a better sandwich than OG. I would prefer if Miami traded Ogunleye & Madison to the Vikes for Moss as rumor suggests & then signed Winfield. It looks like Woody will sign w/ Buffalo. What is up w/ all these former Pats signing w/ Buffalo. I have never been to Buffalo and can not see the appeal of that place. Why do have the feelings that the "wings" (which you can now get anywhere) are the only decent thing about this town??
hahah who knows. Maybe they are going to buffalo just cause they know some people up there already and its not that far to move. Who knows. Let them all rot in buffalo. I'd do that trade in a minute if I was Miami but I heard chambers was part of the deal.
