I think that T.O is a total baby. He says he has a "right" to be a free agent. No, he doesn't. He is under contract, and the fact that the contract was screwed up is his fault and his agents fault. As long as he is under contract, the 49ers can trade him to whoever they want. Fact is Baltimore put a better offer on the table. If he wanted to be a free agent he should have been a little more on the ball. And this bs about waiting to file the papers so he wouldn't be franchised... does anyone really think the 49ers would have franchised him anyway?!?!?! They didn't want him! Does he think they would franchise him, then trade him? Well then he would still be a free agent at the end of this year, and the team would have had more time to make a good deal. Anyway you cut it, T.O is a Raven, and his cry baby act is just annoying. I think he's just afraid of Lewis [IMG]

Im imagining a scenario where TO cries and cries and cries until the Ravens are fed up and ship him to Philly....so TO gets his way, but sometime soon, the Ravens and the Eagles will be playing a game, and whats gonna happen when TO crosses the middle and upon catching the ball, Mr. Lewis comes calling and wants to settle the score....ASK NOT FOR WHOM MR. LEWIS TOILS....HE TOILS FOR YOU, YOU SELFISH PIECE OF SHIT!

I belive that it was not T.Os fault and not his agents fault but technology its just funny how when you realy want something you just dont get it. But what you people dont get is that to is a 4 time pro bowler not some suckky wr. He needs the ball and Garcia is not a good enuf qb to get him it. But i garuntee it that philly will work to in the line up and every body will be happy even to.

Haha bearsfan that was funny. It must be rough when on your 19th post your being told you say alot of dumb things. HAHAHA

I think the ravens should make it more of a mess and deal him to someone else for a 2nd round pick even if they move down in the round from what they would have had without TO.

Hellz the F'Yeah...I am sooo pumped now. Are the Eagles the best team in the NFC??? I think with additions of Kearse and Owens, and draft still to go, the early prognosis is hellz yeah. This is the best offseason in the Eagles history. WOW, just plain WOW

If I were an Eagles fan right now, I'd be cautiously optimistic... I'd be praying that Kearse can stay healthy for a full season and that T.O. can keep his "locker room cancer" mouth shut for a full season. The odds of both (or one) happening seem minimal. But if these guys can play to half their potential, the Eagles should improve on both sides of the ball.

i think they are the third best team . . . in their division. they lost 2 pro bowl corners, and have not replaced either, they will be so much weaker this season i doubt they will make playoffs

BearsFan1 is that jelousy I feel??? They got a former first and second round picks as starters for next year at corners. They also have the best Safety combo in the leafy (Dawkins and Lewis). Bobby Taylor missed most of the year with injuries anyway, and we will miss Troy, that I believe is true. But this is the time you have to trust your scouting department, I think we'll be allright. Besides, I think we will get another veteran corner to play nickel.

I agree with Pack Attack. The Eagles could be very dangerous...or they could be very average. Kearse will be good if he stays healthy. I've always thought Owens was a top WR, but I'm not so sure nowadays. You can call him a cancer if you want, but if he is that good, you put up with it to win. You certainly don't trade him away for little or nothing. A top receiver will be worth a first round pick and more. Evidently, Owens isn't that. I believe he will be an upgrade over what the Eagles have now, though.

You didn't mention that philly lost their def MVP last season in carlos emmons and replaced him with Dahni Jones. Jones isn't horrible but he does not make you better than emmons does and they still need another LB or two because I feel they were a big part of the reason philly couldn't stop the run last year. Also Parcells is just hte master of getting that much better in his second and third seasons over his career so that alone has to scare the eagles. Washington is great on paper but I'll wait and see what happens there. I guess it could go either wat for them.

Philly obviously will compete and be a good team but I just think that division is to close to call right know. I sure hope T.O. realizes McNabb doesn't throw to the post on every down likes he thinks it should be.

I still don't trust Philly. I think they will be good, but not the best. Of course, once again, I have biased thoughts and think that the Vikings had the best offseason.

Philly just doesn't seem to have all the pieces together, but I can't put my finger on what pieces are missing.

Losing Staley, Emmons, & their 2 starting CB's will IMO offset the additions of Kearse & TO.

Their LB Corps will scare no one & now the Secondary is not as dominate.

The NFC East will be much improved but get back to me after Parcells has worked his magic during the draft.

It's true that those losses will hurt. However, I think that overall the team is younger and is much faster. Dhani Jones is not a huge drop-ff from Emmons. And the two young corners have a ton of potential, and with the much improved pass-rush they will be in the perfect situation to succeed.

I agree that the division will be tougher. But I am not just beating my chest when I say that we are still by far the best team in the division. Dallas is nice, but they will have a tougher schedule this year, and they still dont have a real QB or a threat RB. The Redskins always look nice on Paper, but paper doesnt win games. The team that I think will be improved the most, is the Giants. They still have a lot of talent. But the Eagles are much better in almost every area. I cant wait till the season starts.
