Plaxico, had a terrble terrible season last year.
As for boldin's numbers compared to hines
i beleive hines had better numbers last
year. Anquan boldin had a great rookie year
and boldin did have other wrs around him.
First rd pick bryant johnson who the jury is
still out on was oppisite of boldin, gilmour and
last there wr that killed the vikings back in
    last week.

Hines ward has clearly been underated compared
to others but he shows up year in and year out.
    Ward imo is top 5.

Ward offers value that doesnt show up on the stat sheet....no personal statistic reflects his blocking, which he excels at...hes the best blocking WR in the league, but Boldin did have an excellent season, and if the question was who I would take right now, I would take the much younger Boldin, but Ward has had an excellent career....

Not only is Ward an excellent blocker. They say he is a crisp route runner too. I have never seen anyone with better hands. Ward makes some crazy acrobatic catches. Before you guys all blast me, I'm not saying Ward has BETTER hands than any reciever; just that he is AS GOOD as any of the elite WRs when it comes to good hands. My dream tandem would be Ward and Marvin Harrison.

Wow! I think that says alot. I couldn't agree more. I wouldn't say that Ward has the "best" hands in the league, but he is just as good as anyone in the top 5. He has better hands than Moss or Owens. He just doesn't have their size or speed. He has a better grasp of the game, better hands, runs better routes, and blocks better than any of those guys. He is certainly creating a new mold for receivers. Now they actually talk about a receiver's ability to block downfield as a major attribute.

If I could have any two, it would be Chad Johnson & Hines Ward.... Speed downfield and great hands for the underneath stuff...

The best receiver in the NFL? On production alone, my vote goes to Marvin Harrison. Based on talent alone, I have to say Randy Moss.
