i heard that if madison doesnt take a big paycut than he may be released and the eagles have intrest. its was just in the paper the other day and on another reliable site that we are all familiar with. any news from the DWO
i think it is ridiculous, there is at least 15 teams in the league who would give up a pick for madison so they would at least trade him
It has been widely reports, but I dont see any scenario in which the Dolphins are likely to release Sam Madison....for the following reasons: 1.releasing him would save $1.3 million under this years cap and raise his cap charge for next year, they would spend the whole savings replacing him 2.he has trade value, so why would they release him? 3.I heard him on the Mike and Mike show and when asked who he would play for next year he said Miami, then when they asked how sure he was, he said 100% 4.Sun Sentinel has reported that the Dolphins and his agent are close on a restructured contract I think the Eagles could aquire him if they really want to, but it would take atleast the 2nd the Dolphins traded for Feeley and maybe more
I agree they should trade rather than release him. But as Dale & Beef will confirm, Spielman & Wanny will never be asked to join Mensa.
Well unfortunatly the other site was wrong because MADISON did end up with a restructured deal to stay with MIAMI, sorry DAWK.
