its either i dont watch enough ESPN, or this happened out of the blue, Charlie Garner is now a buccaneer, something i never would have predicted... of course i dont think hell make that big a difference, he may, but i doubt it.
I am just wandering what is up with the SAPP thing, BUCS? Are you going to offer him to stay or is he gone? His agent has said that you guy's have not made 1 offer to him or said anything to him about staying, just curious.
Charlie Garner can be the ultimate weapon. Just two years ago he had nearly 1000 yards receiving and complemented it with nearly 1000 yards rushing. THAT'S impressive. In that last game, I was cheering for him to go 1000/1000, but it wasn't meant to be. He ended up at like 960 and 940. This is a great pickup for Tampa. A great checkdown receiver and a durable back who can put up 1200 yards rushing if you just give him the ball.
Ya I was kind of hoping the pats would rent him or staley for a year or two and draft a running back to groom like a tatum bell, but o well.
Charlie garner is a perfect fit for john grudens offense. He already knows his offense from the days in oakland. The whole reason why we picked up charlie is cause thomas jones was signed by chicago. Pittman clearly hasnt been what we hoped for. So garner splitting carrys with mike alstott and third down back pittman is great fit for our system. Bearsfan, Its true we have not made warren a offer, its not looking good he will be back. I think allen's number one goal is to go with our youth and start retooling. Kinda like the ravens did recentley.-
i think allen is not going to make sapp an offer either, it is what is best for the bucs. It should help mcfarland to make a name for himself
