    Sounds like a safe flight...

Anyway, the Chargers seem to be taking on a huge cap hit with the prorated SB Boston got and only getting a 6th in return, other than the player to be named? Will be interested to hear who that player is.

Done deal according to ESPN.com & that other site. Phins got him for 6th rounder & a player to be named later which is cheap IMO.

Funny thing is; I used this very same if not similar "pun" in the Miami forum last night.

At the price they paid this is an excellent gamble for the Dolphins, I hope the player to be named later is Jamar Fletcher

The best thing about a really good conspiracy is that its hard to prove.

    what a rip off.

if i was san diego and i traded him for a 6th, i would demand that all financial obligations to the player of that quality be taken away. david boston is a top WR when healthy, and if ur getting him for a 6th and still gotta pay thats bull.

    bad deal

Any guesses as to who San Diego will draft now? They have no WR's after trading away Boston. Larry Fitzgerald at #1 and run with Brees/Flutie for another season? The need at that position might outweigh the obvious, and it's too early for them to shake Ryan Leaf from their minds.

Go check out who they have brought in and who they have let go during the last two offseason's. Just go look at the way their roster breaks down and you will see that they are not improving themselves. Horrible coaching, bad offseason moves, and season ticket holders that sell their tickets to Raider fans on Ebay....Are they still talking about moving to LA LA Land? I'm really happy that they will be #4 in the AFC West again this year. That's two guaranteed wins for my team, and it leaves the AFC West in a 3-way battle for 1st place this year....Raiders, Broncos, Chiefs.

-Hoping that the Raiders have the choice of either Manning or Rothlisberger at #2 this year.

SD should take fitz or mike williams IMO. i say give brees 1 more chance to go the whole season. theres always next years high draft if brees doesnt work out, then ur pretty much promised a top 10 pick. the WR in this draft is to great and rare, theres a great QB or 2 everyyear.

They can take Manning and still get a 1st round talent WR in the 2nd round...

Agreed. There are some excellent WRs to take in the first round, but the WR core as a whole is deep enought to get something in round 2. That is, if they are sold on Manning.

Back on the original subject. Boston will only be a bust in Miami. I ll bet the house on that.
