if he can produce then that makes eagles better, he definately knows how to get open, now if he can just learn to catch
who LJ? he did catch, but i think on the MN games he got stage freight cause he never had that experience before comming from Rutgers and all, i think hes a future great TE, and can expect 40-55 catches this year
he may have only dropped those three or four balls on monday night, but i will never let him live it down
Triplets. Manning, james, harrison without a doubt look at there stats no one is close to them. brunell, portis and coles and mcnabb, westbrook and owens have not even played togeither yes to be called the best.
i know bucs im saying on paper, Glenso im not saying u should respect him im saying hes good and it was his first prime time game ever, all the "experts" had him as the rook. of the year, and a top 20 projection, but his school(rutgers) and combine werent that good to get picked high just like Mike LEwis was the year before, he was considerend the best S b4 his hear problem was found, now hes a budding star
Oh I have nothing against him. I think he will be quite good in the future. I even carried him as a back up TE on a few of my fantasy teams this past year. That last post was rather random but basically I was trying to say that for the most part a good performance on MNF can really get your name out for an unknown player or rookie. It can also get your name out in a negative way. So one bad game with dropped balls is going to make most fans think he has bad hands even though the other 15 or so games that arent watched he may never drop a ball again.
hahaha Bearsfan for the second half of last year Givens,Branch and Brady were one of the more consistent week to week trio's but weren't the best. Both givens and branch are on there way to being 1,000 yard receivers if they continue to build on last season seeing as this upcoming season will be there third and historically receivers blow up in there third year so bump those two up your fantasy rankings for next year cus they are primed. I guess the best has to be manning, harrison, james but I hate them.
i did not intend to diss the patriots recievers. I know they are good and go deep, i did mean to belittle their running backs. when the patriots go five wide there are no other teams that do it is well, and brady does pick a defense apart.
I hear ya I still have dreams of letting curtis martin go. That was horrible IMO. I hope which ever back we get (S. Jackson ore st, K. Jones VT, G. jones FSU...) becomes a consistent everydown back because that will allow us to hide our play action and running plays more effectively.
Everything I hear recently about this RB class is negative, starting with thier speed....I read an anonomous quote from a GM that stated if any one of these backs could run in the 4.5's they would be the 1st back taken, but all of them ran in the 4.6's or higher....obviously the enigma of the group is Clarrett, who doesnt work out until 4/7....if he runs a fast time(anything 4.5 or faster) he will move back up draft boards, but the feeling around the league is that his times will be a dissappointment as well, since he weighed in at a "doughy" 237 at the combine....TSN War Room said that when he stood next to Greg Jones and his "body by michaelangelo" you couldnt help but wonder if Clarett, who had noticable love handles, had a "body by McDonalds"
yeah Greg jones is kind of who I want just cause we shouldn'y ahve to move up to get him and can probably take a DT or a LB instead at 21 and either move up in the second round or take him at 32. I just hope they hit paydirt with whoever they take cus another J.R. Redmond will be hard to swallow.....though he did have some big plays in the games winning SB drive in 2001.
You could put alot of people beside GREG JONES and he would make most of them, if not all of them look like they have the "body by McDONALDS" as he is a beast.
