They had a good 05-06 but weren't able to make it past the second round an area which they've been stuck in since Carter joined the team. Also, if Kidd were on the Lakers, they wouldn't neccesarily go deeper but would be a better team than the New Jersey. </p> </div> </p> I'd take the talent that the Nets have currently around Kidd than the talent the Lakers have around Kobe.</p>
Kidd and LeBron I get. Those two were made for eachother. Kidd and Kobe I don't get but i'm sure LA would love to pair Kobe up with another star. I know the thinking is combine a great PG with the most potent offensive force in the league it's gonna be amazing I just don't think they mesh any better than Kidd and Carter do but i'm sure there will be plenty of people that feel differently. Thankfully for Nets fans we will probably never have to find that out. Every person on that USA team is spoiled by the talent they played with the past few months but all of them realize that they have to get back to work and Kidd is returning to one of the better supporting casts from the whole group. Kobe and Kidd is one of the few hot stories on a team that is just steamrolling people leaving little newsworthy stories other than a bunch of highlights and im sure every word is being disected and analyzed because there's nothing else to write about.
Kidd is blinded with his love affair with Kobe to think about the whole picture. In his mind, it's just, Yay! Me and Kobe! When there is nothing else on that roster.
