Colt Brennan threw for 34/40, 416 yards, and 6 TD's....in the first half. holy jeebus.
Hawaii was up by so much that the second team offense took the field after halftime, and they cruised to a 63-6 lead over Northern Colorado.
Thats ridiculous; does anyone think he could have gone for 800 and 12?
So is this guy a player, or taking advantage of poor competition?

It could help, but also hurt them. Usually a school will pick up a lower level prospect and make em better. I've seen some cases where 3-4 star guys go to places like that (Graham Harrell). Partly because their high school ran it. But most top recruits want to go to a system thatgives em a better chance to get emin the NFL. With all the QBs in the past that were taken high from pass happy systems that were busts, it's made scouts and teams look at them differently. They'll have tojudge skill sets instead of numbers.
In Brennan's case, despite the system he is in and lower level of competition he plays, he is accurate and has a quick release. Questions marks on his arm strength though, because he doesn't show it off.

If Brennen is a high draft pick, which is iffy, it could help them get the big time recuits....if they could come up with some WRs that were big time draft picks, that would help too....as it is right now, the best that system has produced is Tommy Chang, Ashley Lelie and Chad Owens.....
I like Colt, but im not sold on him as a first round pick. The one thing that really stands out to me is his side arm delivery. David Carr had the same problem and look how he turned out. On the other hand Rivers had a side arm delivery with a quick release and he hasnt had many problems.
Vince Young has a similar side-arm-delivery.
Davis Carr surely hasn't found success, yet the league seems to place the blame on his offensive line, and not his individual ability. So how did he turn out? Well the league would likely not decide his fate, as of yet.

Even though they don't play that good of defenses, those stats look crazy, they look like video game stats. He didn't throw any picks either.
