these teams make the playoffs and why others do not WILL Giants- Wild Card- since 1996 every odd year 1997-1999-2001- the giants have made the playoffs every odd year. The reason. the giants have proven that they choke under pressure. It seems that no matter what they always allow a comeback at least to linger. Bears- There is NO competition in that part of the NFC. I beleive the packers are in for a downfall because of there age. They dont have a recever and please do not say Javon Walker bcause if he really was that good than he would get a 1000 yds. He has Brett Favre as his QB thats why he posts decent #'s.f you dont suceed with that kind of QB than your not that good. I se the vikings starting out good but then someones is going to assasinate Randy Moss for something he said JK JK JK 8-8 sounds good with another collapse. Giants, i think you are off on the packers wr's part. For one the packers dont really have to rely on the wr's as much as you think. They have a three headed monster running attack. Ahman green leads the charge with a follow up of davenport and then a combo of both in fischer. Jevon walker is doing great actually he was taken high in the packers draft for this reason. As for old in the nfl we all know thats a word thats used alot and its highly overated. As long as them older players are still playing like there suppose to old means nothing. Rick mirer is a third qb in det behind mike mcmahon how many times did you see ty detmer play for the lions last season he was the third qb in det. Thats right 0 times. As for the vikings the vikings keep getting better and better every year with there moves. In the end i dont see how a team like the packers who were that close to a nfc championship game could be on the decline, last year no one picked them to make the playoffs or even win the nfc north.
Hey, the giants madre the superbowl in 01 and didnt make the playoffs in 02. 1 year is big difference. The vikings have had way too many problems the last few years and they swing around every year but never make the playoffs. 01 was the last year. The mirer thing was a joke........ i've always rooted for the lions ( dont know why) but i dont kow there not looking good. I still standby what i said about the packs.....
Giants also the year they went to the superbowl beat a heavly favorite vikings team that came off a outstanding year. Minn has had the problems but since dennis green has left and mike tice have came in they have built of a nucleus there and have gotten better every year. Mirer being a joke i see, lions could complicate the pack and vikings for sure there team is highley improved and will be on the offense come draft day. There defense was solid last year and they signed some solid players in free agency. Fernando bryant and brock marion There defensive line beleive it our not was one of the best in the nfl last year.
