Anyone who watched Smith burn him in the Divisonal Round, double overtime win knows that this is a rhetorical question.

Welcome DELHOMME to the forums. Maybe this PANTHER fan will stick around for a while, unlike the ones before that have vanished. I hope you enjoy your stay and happy posting.[IMG]

That's why you should ask for football jerseys as Christmas gifts from far away relatives. At least then you know that you didn't pay for it, and they'll never notice that you're not wearing it anymore when that player decides to defect to a rival team.

Sehorn was always the most ofer-rated player. And with all due respect GF1, the Giants WAY overpaid for him. And you are right, he should've taken a pay cut. I think they gave him a 10 mil signing bonus and he was like 29 years old. I remember wondering, what they were thinking. It would be like the Eagles doing that with Bobby Taylor. Atleast Taylor went to the Pro-Bowl. He was a huge mistake. I would only sign him close to a minimum salary.

Truth is sehorn was never the same after he tore
his knee up. Its prime example of why you dont
use your best player on special teams. At the time
sehorn was the giants best corner.

Im gonna pull a Rush Limbaugh here and suggest that Sehorn was never as good as he was made out to be....but the media is desirous of white DBs to do well in this league....for another example, see Mr. Lynch, good player, but not great as hes made out to be...

If I was conducting a poll about what Safety would knock your head off, Im sure Lynch would win in a landslide(they dont call him "friendly fire" for nothing), but I expect so much more out of a safety than just lighting people up

John lynch was voted by the nfl players association and
coaches as the hardest hitter for 2 year in row. However
johnny weakness was always pass coverage, his strengths
to stop the run in which he did hit.

Lynch in his prime was nice, but theres a cost to pay
look at him the last 2 years battling neck and shoulder
problems. Part of the reason why our team felt it was
time to move on witout our captain.
