QUOTE

With coach Phil Jackson entering the final year of his contract, transition appears to be in the Lakers' future. The betting is the Knicks will make a major run at Kobe Bryant with the Bulls, Bryant's personal choice, still a possibility. -- Chicago Tribune

Don't see for what type of package... Lee? Curry or Zach? Balkman?
-Petey

The Lakers have shown no signs of trading Kobe, I don't think that Kupchak will even listen to what Thomas has to say. Kobe Bryant will be at the Lakers training camp in October.
I dotn even know who they would want from the Knicks. I think it would have to be a 3 way, but who would they even take from NY? If they trade Kobe I doubt they trade Bynum, so would they even take Curry or Randolph?

QUOTE (Ruudvannisteroy10)

marbury? doesnt richardson still play for them. theres plenty man
If I werean NBA team trading with theKnicks, the only players thatappeal to me areBalkman, Collins, and Lee.

QUOTE (Ruudvannisteroy10)

marbury? doesnt richardson still play for them. theres plenty man

Please tell me you don't actually believe that Stephon 'I want to play in Italy' Marbury and Quentin Richardson are enough to get the best player in the NBA from a franchise whose fans have supported him for 10+ years. The Knicks simply don't have the pieces and it's completely insane to think that the Knicks can get Kobe without giving up Lee and Curry.

The Lakers aren't gonna want anything from NY because of the guys' reputations, but realistically it's their best shot at getting good value.

The Bulls don't have the salary to match. Really, New York is the only destination if the Lakers were to trade Kobe.
Knicks aint going to get kobe. They think cause they have big contracts they can get anyone they want... everytime theres a big named player out there knicks are rumored to get them. whatever
Dont see it hapening unless its a 3 team deal.

Lol, but check this out:
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?players=9~662~3023~981~110~1998~1031~3002&teams=13~13~13~2~2~2~2~2&te=&cash=2:13
