Hmmm... Can we afford him? Do we want him? Will he be content as a backup for a few years? Will they sign him to a back loaded contract? Will he be signed at all?

I guess these questions will be answered in the next few days. Curious...

I say skip on COUCH and pick up KORDELL. Just trying to help FAVRE's last year as a PACKER to be a memerible one( for the BEARS).[IMG]

I'm still not sold on the idea that Couch is a bust. For awhile, I thought the Cowboys were going to go that way, and I was OK with that.

I think this would be a good move for both if it was Favre's last year. However, I didn't see Couch sitting on the bench for another few years although he has indicated to the media that he would be willing.

On the other hand....I would have to be the guy who followed Favre.

i think they should cut farve and use their first round pick on one of those high school kids, a OL and play him at QB, and i am not just saying that because i want packers to lose, well maybe a little.

seriously couch would be a nice pickup if there is little or no compensation.

Couch in all honesty has gotten the raw deal
in cleveland. The man has had coaches come
and go along with new offenses. He has had
rbs under acheive which made his game one
dimensianal. Then he has holcombe taking his
snaps from him. This kid needs a new address
sometimes change works and what better teacher
to learn from in favre for a few years til he retires.

    Make this move.

Cleveland has never really put it all together since they reacquired a team. Making the playoffs once in that time period doesn't cut it. They need consistency. Until they get the right staff in there, good players will be in a revolving door.

I never understood what the Browns have been trying to do with Couch anyway. There were times when Kevin Johnson was the only go to guy that Couch had and the Browns were trying to trade him. I think a team might be wise to take a chance on Couch, but I am a Kentucky guy, so I have to admit that bias.
