    this question has been on my mind for a while now and i was just wondering what everybody thought. its just one of those questions that need to be asked. is football fixed? ive been wondering that for a while but lately i dont think so. but when i ask this question to a bunch of people the answer goes both ways... i was just wondering....

    No! Certain teams do get better publicity, love from the experts, & preferred treatment from the refs/league office.

    I believe that the rule that allows referees to challenge a play inside of two minutes left in a game has led to some very controversial, game-changing decisions. Only coaches should be allowed to challenge a call.

    Actually, I was thinking of that NFC Championship game in '99 between St. Louis and Tampa Bay. Remember when Tampa was on their final drive? Shaun King clearly completed that pass to the WR and the ref's stopped the game, overturned the call, and the Rams went on to win.

    I had completely forgotten about the TUCK, but now that you mention it, that's another great example. [​IMG]
