AL: OAKLAND (68-72) at LA ANGELS (82-56) <h3>Angels' Anderson looks to set franchise record vs. A's</h3> Oakland (68-72) at LA Angels (82-56) 3:35 pm EDT ANAHEIM, California (Ticker) -- Garret Anderson aims to match afranchise record by recording an RBI in a 10th straight game andthe Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim shoot for a three-game seriessweep of the Oakland Athletics on Wednesday. Anderson hit a go-ahead two-run homer and Jered Weaver tossedsix solid innings as the Angels moved 7 1/2 games ahead of theSeattle Mariners (74-63) in the American League West Divisionwith a 4-3 win on Tuesday. Anderson can tie the record held by Fred Lynn (1984) and WallyJoyner (1986). Joe Saunders (7-2, 3.62 ERA) takes the hill for Anaheim, whichhas won seven of its last nine games and boasts the majors' besthome mark at 47-22. Saunders has allowed nine runs - sevenearned - and 19 hits over his last 10 1/3 innings. Oakland, which has lost eight of 11, sends Joe Blanton (11-9,3.88) to the hill.
