Very close...first two picks were CB and the third was a big DT. They also got another DT that projects to add depth because he can play all line positions. They drafted a good center in the 7th, so I'd say I was a lot closer than I thought I would be. The only pick that threw me off was the punter, but I'm warming up to the idea. They addressed LB depth by signing Spearman the week before the draft, but it also came out that if the Vikes hadn't picked Dontarrious Thomas in the 2nd, GB probably would have. I'm glad they didn't pick a QB, but if Losman had been available at 25, it sounded like they may have picked him. I guess I had a pretty good prediction of what they'd do, which is surprising because my predictions are usually horrible.
It wasn't a pretty draft because you guys have the stars in the right offensive positions, but hopefully Green Bay can develop some of this depth and have a bright future. Yeah, the punter deal was kinda lame, but then again you never know. Field position is big, but if this guy's a bust, they wasted a relatively high pick.

The hangtime is also good. Distance is a little less than Dorsch, who is also in camp, but with the hangtime Sander gets, the coverage teams should be able to cause a fair catch most of the time...I hope. edit: OK, my numbers are a little off...6 of 20 punts snapped from the 40 landed between the goalline and the 20...not as impressive, but pretty good. Hangtime between 4.5 and 5 seconds.
Some games come down to field position. I know the Steelers have lost a few close ones on special teams. The playoff game in 2001 against the Pats was lost on special teams. Never underestimate a good punter!
pacs look okay but i havent realy seen them make any moves in the offseason so if they plan on beating the eagles they need more than that.

Bad punting and secondary issues. So they signed a coverage FS in Roman and drafted 2 cornerbacks and a punter. How is that "not making any moves?" It's hard to improve on a team that was literally 1 play away from the NFC championship game. We didn't lose anyone important either, so there were no departures to make up for. Besides, big FA moves are busts more than they are successes.
When you brought back game vs Philly it made my stomach turn. I'm sure Green Bay fans had a hard time swallowing the loss. I was sure if the Pack got by Philly, they would beat Carolina. That could have been the most ridiculous finish to a playoff game in a long time (not counting the coveted "tuck rule" fiasco. The better team did not win the game on that day.
