    QB - Brooks
    RB - McAllister
    WR - Horn
    WR - Pathon
    TE - Williams

This team amazes me, but not in a good way. With all the talent they have, they struggled so badly at times. These guys could all be Pro-Bowlers if they could just put it together for a season. Haslett could be on his last leg with New Orleans. Is there anything that will change this season as far as starting positions? Can Joe Horn rebound from a down year or is his career winding down? Without that one huge game, he had pretty average numbers.

As a New Orleans fan all my life I would have to say if they had any chance of winning the big one it would be now. Yes, they have the talent and the potential, but they have no discipline. They let games slip due to stupid mistakes, and put their heads down to soon. This year though will be different. Haslett has been stressing the whole discipline situation, and they have added depth to the D-line and WRs.
I think if they just come out and play with what they've got then this year should make a believer out of everyone.

A coach can stress not making stupid mistakes all he wants, but it doesn't necessarily have an impact. Mike Tice from day 1 said that he would field a smart football team. When stupid mistakes became a habit, he even started to pull players who were caught making these mistakes (false starts, etc).

In the end, a coach has to give his team the confidence and the mindset that they won't make stupid mistakes.

You also have to have talent at both ends of the field. One dimensional doesnt win much when it comes to a championship. Saints still are rebuilding on the defense.

    Brooks
    mcallister
    horn
    stallworth
    henderson
    boo williams.

Rookie henderson will be much better then stallworth. pathon i hear isnt even the 3rd wr anymore.

I'm not sure why I had Pathon listed above Stallworth, but that's the only difference now from before. Should be a good year for the Saints offense.
