As I am sure you all have heard that he KW will be released after June 1st. I think the best plaec for him to go is Arizona. Here's why, Dennis Green is known for taking washed up verteran QB's (i.e. Cunningham, George) and making them play spectacular. If the Cardinals get a good reciever in the draft (one of the Williamses or Fitzgerald) combined with Anquan Boldin thats some serious firepower. They still have Emmit and Marcel Shipp who I think is a pretty good running back. I think Arizona with Warner could be a sleeper pick next year. I am also not sold that they will put all their eggs into one basket with McCown, I just dont see it.

It's not a bad theory. He could thrive in that type of situtation. They have a decent offensive line as well to give Warner time to throw.

I think there are several teams that will take a long look at him though. San Diego, Oakland, Miami, Buffalo, Tennessee, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Dallas, Chicago, and Tampa Bay. That would be my guess as to where he'll land.

i dont quite follow why tennesee would want ot sign warner? i do think pittsburgh + tampa would be the teams that would pursue him. Pittsburgh has good receivers and is now using a spread offense, and maddox is not that good. Tampa because brad johnson can not do the things that gruden wants that would make his offense dynamic, where warner has more arm strength and throws a decent deep ball, where brad johnson throws the worst deep ball in the league.

Tennessee could be looking for experienced depth. McNair is hurt more and more each season. I would say Tennessee, along with Chicago will be on the mild side of interest. I could see San Diego signing him, especially if they trade down and don't draft Manning.

I dont think Warner can do what Jon Gruden wants either. I think Gruden wants a scramble type QB that's quick on his feet and can run around to buy time (i.e. Gannon). I disagree that Jonhson has a bad deep ball. I remember the one year when the Redskins had the 2n ranked Offense in the league with Westbrook, Connel as the recievers and Davis as the RB. Johnson threw the deep ball damn well, he did the same in Minnesota. The Bucs dont have any recievers that have ANY speed to throw the ball deep to.

I'm with Eagles. Johnson always had a strong arm. Last year he had no reason to showcase it with slow Charles Lee and old Keenan McCardell to throw to.

Come to think of it, Tampa would be a hard sell being that Warner is a Johnson-type stand in the pocket QB. And why replace the old with the same? I'm taking Tampa off of my list of suitors.

i am sorry but brad johnson has a weak arm, he throws a poor deep ball, he was successful in minnesota throwing short passes to chris and jake. Tennessee resigned volek as a backup for mcnair, and if gruden wanted a mobile QB they would not have drafted simms.

Don't be sorry BF1, it's your opinion. Teams sign backups all the time, that doesn't mean that they wouldn't consider a short term upgrade if they see fit. I already took Tampa off my list. I do agree that they won't be in the market for Warner.

If WARNER leaves then they have said they will look at what type of offence teams run to see if he would fit in. As we all know the BEARS are now running the RAMS type offence that he is used to and his agent is from CHICAGO. We are also in need of one more QB to fill our team. Could it happen?

I saw an article this morning saying that it might happen. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see them give Grossman a year behind Warner or make Warner win the job outright. It could get very interesting after June 1st.

Don't worry BF1, WARNER is not on our list now, sources say. REX will be the starter and we will go from there. I think we will be better off this way, as WARNER may have only been a good backup anyways. Now, on to the DRAFT![IMG]

Well scratch Chicago off the list... Tampa's off too. That leaves 9 teams that will be interested in Warner.

Arizona, San Diego, Oakland, Dallas, Miami, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and Tennessee in that order.

I doubt Miami will be interested, Feeley is untouchable on the roster for now, and Wannstedt loves Fiedler too much....its unlikey they would bring in Warner as the #3

They might bring him in to compete for the job. Make Feeley & Fiedler work for it. I have them slated as medium interest. I guess we'll see. I do think he'll end up in AZ or SD.

SD should trade for him, thus making it easier to deal 1st pick

I think he'd be a good fit for the Cardinals. They have a huge O-line and you know Green will let him be pass happy in that offense. Warner to Fitzgerald? That could be a sick combo if Warner rebounds for him problems.
