What does everyone think about him as a player so far? He's been looking pretty amazing in his games at EuroBasket2007, well except for last nights 14 points on 3-10 shooting.

Do you think he will eventually start on the Blazers?

And what about Europeans saying Rudy Fernandez is a better player than Andrea Bargnani

If he is, you guys are damn lucky, because Mago was a big part of our first Division title run last season.

Looks like he has some similar weaknesses to him, too. Too thin, needs to add strength, work on his man defence, and improve his rebounding. Must be a European thing.

I do believe Rudy is better than Bargnani, but Bargs would always be drafted first because of size.

The moment Rudy comes over, he is a starter in Portland and Roy becomes a SF.

I agree that Rudy is better than Bargnani, especially right now. Bargnani might become better, and big men are always given a preference, but IthinkRudywillbeabetterplayforatleastafewyearsafterhegetshere. I'm glad cpawfan agrees with me and it just isn't my homer instincts talking, but I also expect Rudy to push for a starting spot, which will mean that one of Rudy or Roy will playoutofposition.
