Raptors fans and teammates may not have seen the last of Keon Clark, who returned to Toronto on Sunday as a member of the Sacramento Kings. According to sources, the Raptors remain very much interested in reacquiring Clark, who has an out clause from his contract that pays him the NBA mid-level exception of about $4.5 million US. Clark never wanted to leave Toronto. Despite his public comments about Vince Carter, the Raptors are no longer treating their franchise player with kid gloves and don't feel any ill will between Clark and Carter should prevent the team from reacquiring the 6-foot-11 Clark. If the Raptors are going to get their hands on Clark again, they are going to have to rid themselves of contracts and free up money. The two most likely players to get traded appear to be Morris Peterson and Lindsey Hunter. Peterson is eligible for a contract extension this summer and based on the numbers being floated around it's very doubtful the Raptors will match Mo Pete's demands. Hunter has never found a fit with the Raptors in his first season in Toronto and remains inactive with a sore back. The Raptors are loaded with perimeter players, either active or inactive, but are thin in the frontcourt. Clark provided the perfect complement for Antonio Davis last season. Clark has plenty of support among most of the current Raptors players and management. More importantly, Clark is a fan favourite in Toronto.

i'd love for him to be back also... I would hate to see the Raps trade Mo Pete... But sometimes you gotta do whats best for a team.
