Has anyone noticed that the Rockets are in a danger of losing their playoff spot? They're on a landslide the past couple of games. Tonight they even lost to the worst team in the NBA - Cleveland Cavs. Hopefully after the all-star weekend Houston can start playing better again... But what do u guys think caused this slipage?
Yao Ming is getting tired. The NBA season is longer compared how many games he used to play each season. I think after All Star Weekend they will bounce back.
Haha Mel.. Well Yao Ming has to play in the All-Star game so not much rest there since that game is meant to be a highly offensive/showcasing game, Yao's gonna be tired as hell
With tired Yao,with great Yao...it doesn't really matter to me,I know the Lakers will make the playoffs and trust me,they won't be 8th. They will have better record then Rockets in no time,they will soon have better record than Suns,som other teams are next......
I think the rockets are going through a burnout stage where they are like " refusing to win". I think this all star break will give the team time to regroup and get ready for the playoffs which they will make
I think the Rockets have improved alot and are a playoff team. The only thing they have to do is contiue playing good.
since the last post in this thread the rockets have moved down to the 9th seed in the west. Tough to move up on a team that has a player scoring 40 points every damn game. Hopefully they can pass a different team that is in a slump. The rockets got to stop losing to bad teams

If the Lakers lose Tonight, the rockets will have the 8th spot in the playoffs. Either way the Rockets at worst will be 1/2 a game out of 8th because the Suns have been losing.

The Suns are now fighting for a playoff spot with Houston. The lakers are hot and up to 7th in the west so they dont have to worry that much about the rockets.
I think in a way they need stevie to come back and play well but i think that moochie norris has played very well in his absence. Hopefully stevie can play today against the celtics
Its going to be a dogfight for the 6th, 7th, and 8th seeds in the West. They are totalyl up in the air and any of the teams(competing teams) could make it or lose there spots. The West is a toss-up to see who makes the playoffs.
