He's either not thinking straight, or saying that the East is garbage, so whoever wins the Sacramento/ LA series has the championship. My bet is the 2nd, but I may be giving him more credit that he's due.

What's with all of these Celtic picks? Who's there beyond Pierce and Walker? They're one of the shallowest teams in the league. I guess you all missed Detroit's back-to-back wins against them, including the 52 point thrashing.
They lost that badly to the Pistons because the Pistons couldn't miss and walker shouldn't even have been playing yet.

no way will celtics get anyway close.....dallas 2nd round at best...lakers kings or blazers will win it...pistons have a very good chance at the finals billups was a great pick-up and is that scorer we needed.....

... I say it will be Kings vs. Pacers. Pacers have the potential to go very far this year and we have seen how well the Kings play. With the recent good play of the Lakers, they will be a challenge to the Kings but I think they can surpass them. THe Mavs good play is very nice and everything but I still don't think they have what it takes to go far in the playoffs. The only other team in the east that could maybe meet up in the finals with the Kings would have to be the Nets, I don't see any other team doing it. Orlando has great players but they never go far, Detroit too. Many of you all are saying that Boston will be in it but I don't see it, yes the combination of Walker and Pierce is great and all that but sometimes they can't turn it on whenever they need it the most.

... Yeah that is rather funny, I really like Dikembe and hope he gets better, but if it means that the Nets start losing than no thanx.
