Well now that the draft is done, how do you feel we did BF1? I think that we did pretty good. We got some of the best nicknames if nothing else with "BABY SAPP" and "TANK"! We ended up with 2 DT, 2 CB, WR, QB, DE, and a LB. I don't think that I left out anything. So at least no RB this year, right? I think we will be O.K. and am anxiously waiting for the first KICKOFF SUNDAY. LET'S GO BEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!![IMG]

Cool I will have to keep an eye on him. I have heard WARNER's name thrown around again by the way. If he ends up here it better be for a backup role.

Well now I see another name has entered the mix, TIM COUCH. The BEARS have asked to speak with COUCH now sources say. What will happen? Stay tuned to find out.[IMG]

That could be interesting for the Bears. I think Couch would be better suited to back up Grossman than Warner. Couch is young and with the right coaching might be good someday (like a Gannon). He might just be a late bloomer... It's always good to have two starting caliber QB's.

only problem is couch is another one who wants to start not backup, if he is told that will be his role and agrees it will be ok. He may think that grossman is going to fall flat on his face and he is going to be able to "holcomb" the job.

Sometimes you just have to take the opportunity at hand. If you look around the league, there are several QB's that started at one point, playing back-up roles now. And not all because of age. Most of the time it's simply situational. Couch will most likely not be handed a starting job anywhere, the best he may get is the opportunity to compete in training camp. If he was smart, he'd get signed and just do his job. Maybe he can earn the right to start again somewhere.
