    Allen Iverson

    Raptors? Feb. 11 - The hottest rumor making the rounds Monday morning had Philly quietly gauging interest in Allen Iverson. The Sixers would demand another All-Star caliber two-guard in return.
    One N.Y. Post report hinted that a Vince Carter for Iverson swap could be in the works. Based on numbers alone, it's highly unlikely. Carter is a base-year compensation player this season, making him almost impossible to trade. To get the numbers to work, the Raptors and Sixers would have to put together a massive deal that would send Iverson, Todd MacCulloch, Eric Snow and Greg Buckner to Toronto for Carter, Hakeem Olajuwon, Jerome Williams and Alvin Williams. In other words, don't hold your breath on that one.

    A.I. is a much better player than VC. This deal makes NO sense for the 76ers.

    I heard they won't even trade Snow for Ratliff. So Snow & A.I. for Vince & A. Williams just doesn't sound right.

    The Sixers need a shotblocker. Maybe they can get Deke back or try to pry Dampier away from GSW.

    to tell the truth... The raps would be spammed if they did that!! VC, Jerome, and Alvin?? NO WAY!!

    That's the same as PJ saying "Kobe is untouchable," Iverson holds their team together. The trade makes no sense.

    ai isnt better then VC, VC is way more complete and mature as a player.

    There is no way that this deal is going to finish, Why? Because vince brings money into the stadium, he sells tickets, Iverson takes too many shots, and is not a good rebouder. Vince is a more complete player, and now the raptors have more scorers, so hes becoming a team player also. The raptors will never trade alvin or jerome, they are the two most dedicated althletes in the world. Todd might also be forced to retire becuase of a disease. so VC will not get traded for a much worse player

    I doubt Iverson will get traded, and if he does, it won't be for Carter....

    i would do the trade if i were the raps gm. iverson is waaaaaaay better than vc.
