SHAQ IS A GREAT PLAYER BUT I DONT KNOW WHY HE CANT GET MORE REBOUNDS, AND BLOCKS FOR THAT MATTER. SHAQ COULD EASILY GET 15+ REBOUNDS IF HE TRIED FOR IT AT ALL, I DONT KNOW WHY HE DOESNT. IF I WAS HIS SIZE I WOULD TRY FOR 20+ FOR THE YEAR, HIS ROOKIE YEAR WAS HIS BEST REBOUNDING SEASON, OR CLOSE TO IT AT LEAST. HE PROBABLY JUST SAYS HE SAVES HIMSELF FOR OFFENSE, BUT HE COULD EASILY AVG 15 REBS AND 4-5 BLKS IF HE APPLIED HIMSELF A LITTLE BIT. I WOULD LOVE TO BE IN THE NBA AND GET A TON OF REBS AND BLKED SHOTS.

GOOD OBSERVATION BUT I THINK YOU COULD'VE GOTTEN YOUR POINT ACROSS WITHOUT THE CAPS.

Shaq is so lazy in the regular season,he's not playing so good but in the playoffs he is always the best player,in playoffs every game Shaq is the best.

    30 points,15 rebounds......that's Shaq........he's the best

    ...

I never really thought of Shaq as a great rebounder...sure he is big, but he doesn't really have that knack for the ball that the other top rebounders do...if the ball is out of his reach or if he can get it simply by taking one jump then he probably won't go after it...during the playoffs it's a different story though because he knows that the team needs all they can get out of him and Kobe...

Would be greatv to see Shaq average that many rebounds, I don't think he cares about them that much though. If he did he would lead the NBA in rebound and blocks.

I think Shaq is slow to the ball and doesn't like to jump for his rebounds. I know in the back of his mind he is also afraid to pick up some cheap offensive fouls. But a man his size should definately average 13 boards a game and about 3 blks per game.
