VC is riding the bench now? Lets wait to see what happens next year with Vince and not talk about before. Do you forget how GOOD he was when healthy. Probably a top 10 player in 00-01 IMO.

I think Carmelo will out play LJ like whoa.IMO, Carmelo will be much more successful in the NBA than LJ. But thats just me...Lebron is good and all but I don't know if he can live up to all that hype.

See, I'm a huge Melo fan.... have been since he was in High School. I want him to be more successful but I just think LeBron will be the better star over time. I hope he does good but I'd rather see Carmelo be the better of the two. I like the way Carmelo can run the floor in such a smooth way but LeBron just is amazing with scoring, rebounding, & assist.

I agree with the Kobe-T-Mac comparison.

I am just glad to be an hour away from the Nuggets stadium right now. Hopefully, my birthday present will be courtside tickets. LOL!

I think for Rookie of the year, while i take NOTHING away from Carmelo, but I just think that all of the Hoop'la thats going around with Bron, I think that 'Melo is just gonna be in Brons shadow the whole year. Like look at Magics charity game, Anthony comes out and leads all scorers with 34pts and puts on a HUGE game....the next day if you look through the papers and on the net, all you can find is articles about Brons 28pts.

There was an article on espn.com, the title, "Anthony puts on a show at Magic game". The entire article was about Lebron and his adaptation to the NBA skill-level....at the bottom of the article, in the very last paragraph..."Anthony, Syracuses allstar forward, led all players with 38pts"
    ...that was it.

I think 'Melo would have to put on one hell of a show to come out with the Rookie of the Year award, but if anyone can do it, it's gonna be him.

    ahh screw it, i'm goin on a limb...MVP - HINRICH'S HAIR!

Ya but that's cause Yao was SHIET in the beginning of the season, he waited till February to turn it on, if he hada put up numbers like he did at the end throughout the season...i think he woulda one.

Amare was just SO consistant, game in and game out he put up double digits. Yao waited too long. But i think Amare is more deserving anyway...works harder.

Not really, everyone was praising Amare for his NBA type body and his first game when he came out and had that huge slam, he wasn't were Lebron is, but he wasn't a nobody.

I just feel that it will take alot of work for any of this years rookie to climb out of Lebrons media shadow and dawn some light on themselves.

Carmelo is only better to me right now cuz he was more experience against higher comp. then High School level! In a few years I wanna see them play one on one! (even now i would wanna see them go at it!)
