Too many other good teams 2. Yes, TMAC, Dooden, Gireck, of course they will make the playoffs. 3. yes. Kobe(MVP), Shaq. Need I say more? 4. NOPE, I dont think they will. 5. 1. nope. too much heat from the pacers and maybe even the nets or celtics. 2. im starting to doubt it. milwaukee is in now. and wahington has it in them to take th elast spot. even with a healthy grant hill they wont go far in th eplayoffs unless tracy takes over. 3. no. there close but realistically trheres just too much competition from the jazz and rockets and suns for the lakers to bully theeyre way in. its a different western confereacne. and the laker dynasty is over. 4. depends all on who they play. they lose to sac, dal, san. phx, por could go either way. they probably could beat utah, LA, sea, or hou.

lol did someone say the Lakers won't make the playoffs ? AHAHAHHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA 'there's too much competition from the jazz and rockets?' is that why both those teams lost to the Lakers when they didn't have Shaq and Kobe was playing at about 80% because of his knee injury? oh and they played the Jazz without Samaki Walker all game too (yah big loss i know =P) im not saying LA is playing well enough to win the championship right now...but they are certainly playing well enough to make the playoffs...probably in the number 5 or 6 spot if they keep this up and other teams keep losing the way they are...even if they qualify at the 7 or 8 spot...i bet you the mavs and kings are both pissin in their pants at the thought of having to play the Lakers in the first round... as far as the others go: 1. Pistons could finish number 1 in the East...its possible...i think they're up there with Indiana and NJ but i would give the slight edge to either Indy or the Nets.. 2. the Magic...its gonna be a tight run for them to get that 8th spot...yah the Bucks look strong and you can never count out a team led by MJ...Hughes being injured for 3 weeks may give the Magic some time to get it going in their favor...gooden and giricek both show promise and T-Mac is as solid a franchise player as there is out there... 3. we already went over this. 4. damn man i sure hope KG gets out of this slump this year...but realistically the wolves are looking at the 6th, 7th or 8th spot...which means they are looking at the Mavs, Kings, Spurs...they can't beat any of those teams in a best of 7...they woulda had a better shot in a best of 5 imo...that way if wally and hudson got hot for a couple of games it would be over quickly =T 5. eh i dont think this one will happen...mavs are pretty secure in their place and are still going strong...

A couple things wrong there: #3: The Lakers are currently the 8th seed. #5: The Mavs are way ahead of the Kings
