    "I am very confident as i said the kobe could not win a championsiip without shaq or another superstar player on his team. T-MAc is for all intensive purposes by himself"

    and T-Mac isn't winning a championship by himself either...so how does this prove that T-Mac is better then Kobe?

    No one person can win a championship by themself. So what's your point?

    But saying Kobe is only good because of Shaq is just non-sense.

    never said T mac will win a championship by himslef. never said kobe is ONLY good cuz of shaq. kobe is good. but with saq he is much more. he is on a winning team and is not the promary fear of the opoosing defense. and he gets plenty of shots

    good article...

    doc rivers thinks very highly of T-Mac and for good reason too...

    i think that this season T-Mac has really stepped up his overall intensity on a consistent basis game in and game out...at least on the offensive end...Doc Rivers assessment of "T-Mac guarding the opposing team's best player" uh i don't think thats much of a defensive compliment because its not like you're going to put pat garrity on that defensive assignment...but it does make his offensive accomplishments that much more impressive because unlike Kobe he has to exert more energy on the defensive end where as Kobe often gets a breather guarding one of the lesser offensive weapons (read bruce bowen) unless fox starts getting burned badly...

    decent article though it didnt really say anything. and putting kobe and TMac on the same field as jordan and wilt and russel and bird is kond of insulting to those guys i think. theres no real comparison. t

    i read recently that Kevin Garnett, a guy who knows a little something about forces in the NBA and defense, said that paul pierce is harder to gaurd than kobe or T-Mac because of his moves and the way he just drives through other players and they can either let him score easy or foul him. hence pierce gets to the line more than anyone else because his so unpopular among other players that no one wants to give him easy baskets

    hehe....as soon as I mentioned Pierce i had afeeling wed hear from sting....somehow though i thought hed be talking about basketball....if someones says somethin that upsets u it best just to PM them or go over their heads and tell an admin.....i dont think SCs even said anything in this thread for a while

    hey guys. settle it via PM....


    from the perimeter? Pierce has always been a much better 3 shooter than either kobe or T-Mac. last year he was one of the best.hes having a very off year with the 3 but chances are hell return to form next year with a more restful summer that doesnt include playing for some national team. anyway i dont think hes a better offensive player either. i was just pointing out what KG said and that theres some value to it but if anything seperates tmac and kobe form pierce it aint the three. if anyhthing its the mid range jumpers that pierce tends to go cold with cuz he takes some dumb shots (must be the antoine wlaker influence seeping in)

    i hope pierce heats up again...i like his game...but he's still no Kobe or T-Mac... =P

    and Pierce's FG% i BELIEVE (you can call me on it if im wrong on this) has always been lower then either T-Mac or Kobe's...maybe last year his 3pt % was higher but this year it is atrocious... =T

    i was speaking from a 'this season' perspective in which both Kobe and T-Mac are shooting lights out from all over the floor..

    and i don't like PM's... this is a 'community' so things can be resolved out in the open...especially if they started out in the open... his pm to me was 'professional' and mature...but he failed to recognize the fact that he was just as much a part of the problem for the incident as i was...

    ach...do what u want. i just think its distracting when u settle personal disagreements publically. this season youer right pierce is off and youre also right that his overall FG% may often be worse than kobe or TMac but theyre not in a diffrent universe or anything. and his 3s this year are unaacceptable

    and see the difference between my argument with Sting and my argument with you (olskoolfunktitude)...is that I went out of my way to pick a fight with you (olskoolfunktitude) because i thought some of the things you said were ridiculous...

    with sting...i argued against him the way i would have with anyone else that i thought was simply wrong...and he brought the fight to me...

    big difference =P
