Allen has never been shy to jack up shots. The Sonics are going to be a run and gun team with Barry, Allen, & Shard, but they have NO defense. 2 years ago Allen was putting up nice all around stats, and with a wide open offense he will probably continue.
way to delete my reply... 9/27 isnt exactly stellar and its nowhere close to one of the best performances of his career...how are getting assists indicative of Kobe not playing good defense on Ray Allen ? he was passing the ball...u want kobe to run over to the guy ray allen passed to and alter his shot too? allen shot 9/27...let me reemphasize that fact...33% from the field is NOT GOOD for Ray Allen...nor any other shooting guard in the league...the one knock i have...i think he had 9 offensive rebounds...thats entirely too many and kobe shoulda done a better job keeping him off the boards... kobe had a poor shooting night...everyone has said this...but he was still 13/34 which is 38% from the field...so yah...like i said your obviously sarcastic comment about Kobe's defense being great...holds more weight as a genuine statement then as a sarcastic one... don't ever delete one of my posts again whether i call u a retard or not

i think he is the one that deleted it... if he did it was cuz the post ended with the word 'retard' which was obviously directed at him...he coulda just edited out the last word...
Ray Allan's fg% is not what the Sonics will be looking to for the rest of the season. The guy is gonna get his shots and on some nights he will be on fire, this wasn't one of those occasions. However, you have got to give him credit for his overall display, when u get close to a triple double you have got to be doing something right. He will get better when he gets into the teams offensive system.
Ray Allen played some stellar defense too only giving up 40 points. He kept Kobe from 50 points he should definately be on the 1st team All defense. That back peddling technique should be taught to all the up and coming players.
