so here is a thread to talk about the player that NEVER gets any props...you know that guy always sittin on the end of the bench, or hell these days even on the floor...who do you think is the best at filling this role for his team and why? my personal vote goes to Mark Madsen...I gotta give that guy props...He hardly ever gets the call to get in the game but when he does he is always ready to play, gives 110%, and makes an immediate energy impact for the Laker team. In addition, even when he is not in the game he supports his team and is their most hardcore cheerleader. He probably gives everything he has in practice as well which is very valuable for a team. I also like the fact that when he is pulled out of the game or a timeout is called he sprints to the sideline...guys with this kinda attitude are so rare these days and I think that he is such a positive impact on the players on his team...
I think Tracy Murray is the 12th man these days. Madsen has moved up the depth charts and is no longer just another Laker Girl. My award goes to Danny Fortson. He is rotting in Golden State, but he has been valuable in the Warrior team practices. He has helped Troy Murphy develop into a solid double double player. And unlike prior years, Fortson has kept his mouth shut.
I have to say DeShawn Stevenson, the Jazz got a taste of what that boy can do against the nets, they might have to start playin' his ass up to sixth man, instead.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "shapecity":</div><div class="quote_post">7th man for DeShawn... AK47 is better and should be the 6th man.</div> Yeah AK is already the 6th Man on that team....... of course higher according to talent. So, DSteve can still be a 7th man, like shapecity said
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "hapnnsas":</div><div class="quote_post">Please Qyntel Woods is the best 12th man</div> Exactly what I think.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "SCBrian":</div><div class="quote_post">what does qyntel woods bring to his team?</div> He brings donughts and coffee in the morning for the coaches, he brings the practice balls, and he brings the luggage for the veteran players.
Mark Madsen's a good choice but my choice would be.................drumroll................... Jamison Brewer. He's quick as hell, maybe quicker than AI. he's played great the past few games when he gets pt. he looks like a better pin-point passer than Tony Parker or Kidd. we need to trade Erick Strickland so Brewer can show his stuff.

No, no, no. Samuel L. Jackson had it right at the Espy's last year when he quoted one of the greatest players to never get off the bench.... MATEEN CLEAVES!
Funny, because I see quite a few Kings fans at this forum. Don't mess, man, it's just a game. And, a bandwagoner fan counts even less than a cowbell-toting, purple-and-black wearin', Arco Arena faithful for 17 years. So, go back and watch Mark Madsen from your seats in section 425 or where the hell ever you Laker bandwagoners sit, and get out of my face. <font color="blue">There is no need for that. Please refrain from attacking and baiting other posters. Thanks-dexter</font>
