And Shaq will be getting a lot of Oops upside your heads on Brad Miller.
Good game.. i know reggie and kobe made up but we know how ron artests is... hmm smells like a fight to me FIGHT!!!!!!!
Got to give credit where credit is due. Artest is the best defender in the league who did a good job on our boy. Had Kobe tossed 50 on him everyone would say "and on top of it, he did it with tendinitis" just like when he was dropping 40's on countless heads during ?The Streak?. Can't use the same bum knee as an excuse when someone D's him up well. It's happened to all the best one time or another. Good thing is you rarely see Kobe have two sub-par games in a row. Expect him to bounce back with a vengeance against Minny on Friday. Kobe played a lot better than T Mac played against Artest. Artest is the best defender in the whole league!!
he's a good defender but Kobe was not taking shots that he cant normally make at a 50% rate...the other thing to consider is that Kobe was taking it to the rack A LOT...and he ended up taking 3 free-throws...now im sorry but Kobe definitely got fouled a lot more times then twice while going to the hoop but doesn't matter...they still got the win... oh and that kobe shot with 3 seconds left shoulda counted...the referees were HORRIBLE...
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "SCBrian":</div><div class="quote_post"> oh and that kobe shot with 3 seconds left shoulda counted...the referees were HORRIBLE...</div> LOL....sure Brian. the refs adore kobe its a known fact
That kobe three should of counted...kobe attacked the basket well all game but didn't get the calls all night so no surprise the refs waived that shot off.
Talk about lack of calls. Shaq was getting hammered and held. Since when can you grab a player with two hands around the waste to prevent him from going across the key. The sad thing is how blatantly obvious these tactics are to impede Shaq, yet the whistle never blows. Artest did play good defense. Keep in mind the Pacers played ZONE most of the game and Kobe spent most of his energy on defense not offense. He was a playmaker tonight, and only got aggressive in the 4th. The Pacers got away with a lot of calls in the 3rd quarter, which allowed them to get back in the game. But the bottomline is the Lakers won and swept the season series.
